Objective
This module aims to initiate design communication skills through architectural graphics. It focuses on developing proficiency in visualizing and communicating architectural ideas, spatial concepts, and forms. Students engage in practical exercises to enhance their ability to convey design elements clearly and precisely through graphic representation.
Task Methodology
After comprehensively studying the Farnsworth House for the Orthographic Projections assessment, the next task involves creating partial external and sectional axonometric projections at a 1:100 scale on A3-sized butter paper. Using pencil, reference your orthographic drawings for accuracy. After constructing the drawing, proceed to ink the final version on A3-sized cartridge paper following a lecture demonstration.

This assignment significantly enhanced my skills by instilling patience and emphasizing the importance of trusting the process. It prompted logical thinking to achieve a successful outcome. The learning encompassed various aspects, including understanding scale, mastering line weight, precise measurements, creating orthographic drawings, generating axonometric drawings and perspectives, and gaining insights into the Farnsworth House.
