Title : MOVIE POSTER
Objective
This module focuses on honing freehand drawing skills, including self-expression, object drawing, architectural lettering, and tonal values. It also aims to develop proficiency in color application, emphasizing the selection of the right palette to capture the essence and genre, especially in the context of film representation.
Task Methodology
1. Produce two initial sketches for the movie poster on separate A5-sized drawing papers. Each sketch should include figure drawings (portrait, full-body, body parts, etc.), natural elements (trees, animals, water, etc.), man-made objects (house, building parts, etc.), and varying sizes of lettering following typical movie poster format. Use references from books, personal photos, online sources, etc.
2. Create the final movie poster on an A3-size paper.
3. Apply color using any medium (watercolor, colored pencils, markers, etc.), using an appropriate palette to convey the film's essence and genre.
4. Ensure that the movie posters are manually drawn.
Submission Format:
1. Final A3-size movie poster drawing.
2. TWO A5-size drawings of the initial ideas and compositions on an A4-size drawing paper.
